Powys County Council will be hosting public meetings in six of the county’s major towns to discuss forthcoming budget pressures.
Powys has again been hit with the highest cuts to its budget, with a 4.5% cut in overall funding. The meetings will be held between 4.30 and 7.30pm at the following Powys locations:
Ystradgynlais: Miners Welfare Hall – 13 January
Machynlleth: Y Plas – 13 January
Newtown: Theatr Hafren -15 January
Brecon: Elim church – 15 January
Welshpool: Livestock market – 16 January
Llandrindod Wells: Commodore Hotel -16 January
